Cashroll

Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

Cashroll is a rental-property accounting app. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what we never do. Plain language, no dark corners.

What we collect

DataWhy
Email addressTo create your account and sign you in. If you use Apple or Google sign-in, we receive your email and name from them — nothing else.
Portfolio data you enterProperties, units, tenants, leases, transactions, and bookings — this is the app's whole purpose. It is yours.
Receipt images you uploadStored privately so you can view them later against a transaction.
Basic usage countsNumber of AI actions used per month, so we can enforce plan limits.

What we do not do

Where your data lives

Your data is stored in our database hosted by Supabase (Amazon Web Services, United States). Traffic is encrypted in transit (TLS) and data is encrypted at rest. Each account belongs to a workspace, and database-level security rules restrict every read and write to members of that workspace — one landlord cannot see another's portfolio.

AI features

Cashroll's assistant ("Zalaa") powers receipt scanning, spreadsheet import, and portfolio questions. When you use those features, the relevant content — a receipt image, spreadsheet headers, or a summary of your portfolio — is sent to Anthropic's Claude API to produce the result. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train models. AI features are optional; the app works fully without them.

Sharing with teammates

If you invite someone to your workspace, they can see and edit that workspace's data. Invite links are single-use and expire after seven days. You can remove a member at any time.

Your rights

Children

Cashroll is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email.
